Two years ago, I had it all. An amazing job, a great boyfriend and a stable, wonderful family. Then my cousin died, my job went away, my boyfriend and I broke up and my Mom had a break down. This is my true story of how I went from having it all to having nothing at all. And this is my journey out - ONE FUN ADVENTURE at a time until I find my way back to me. 'Cause, after spending over 100 days in bed, I've realized, I don't want to live that way anymore.

TODAY'S ADVENTURE BOWL
HELP!
UPDATE, PT. 3: Super giggly and excited to write today's post. It will be up in a bit.
UPDATE: Okay, I did it... there's part of it I still have to do Saturday but I will write all about it TOMORROW. I'm really psyched and really tired but this ONE HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE!!!
UPDATE: I cannot believe the amazing, caring, sweet suggestions people have put here, Facebook & Twitter! I am zeroing in on something pretty big... but weighing a lot of things so please Tweet or post on your Facebook and let's get people inspired to help others!
I picked "Change Somebody's Life." The deal is... I'm supposed to do whatever I pick, that day, TODAY, no backing out or excuses BUT this is a crazy tall order.
I WILL DO IT, I just want to do it right.
I'm like freaking out of nervousness but also excited at the same time!
Any suggestions?
I am on a budget so... keep that in mind! I'll check back in later, going to do some research.

Well, something as simply as smiling and being kind to another person can change their life but it might not be obvious that it's a life altering event at the time.
You're on a budget so granting someone's life long wish is probably not feasible.
This is a tough one. I think you're amazing for wanting to do this! I can't wait to read what you've decided to do!
Oh man, I don't have any ideas, but honestly I think you are doing it every day already! :) You are for me anyways!

"Somewhere, someone is looking for exactly what you have to offer"...whatever it is that you decide (even on a budget) I'm sure it will be wonderful and definitely life changing!
Can't wait to hear what or who it will be!

"Somewhere, someone is looking for exactly what you have to offer"
YES!!!!!
Thanks, Kittie, Tiffany & esp. Trayce for that quote!
Good for you! You will find EXACTLY the right thing. So inspiring and I cannot wait to hear more.
Teach!
My biggest life moments have been when I've learned something- big, small, silly, or monumental. You have a lot you've learned - so teach someone something they'll remember for life!
Well finding out if you are a marrow donor match could definitely change someone's life and it doesn't cost anything?!
Chrissy - BINGO!
Let me rephrase: Sort of Bingo. You are very warm.
oh I am so elated! I have been meaning to do this for a while but I always put it off. I have no excuse my niece died at 2 1/2 from leukemia and I know how vital a match can be!
Now I am going to do it too!
BTW...my niece was too sick to receive donor marrow...so that is why I never did find out if I was a match for her! I would have if I could have. Maybe the fact that we couldn't help her is why I continue to put it off...some type of unresolved issue with that feeling of helplessness?
I cannot wait! OMG, this is really exciting.

I think you've already gone through with whatever you've chosen - well done- most of the life changing things I can think of that people could do for me involve people's time and skills more than their budgets. Its giving of yourself not just giving that can really make the difference.
I bet it will be something really amazing. Good on you. We need more people like you in this world.
PS. Today I have felt like the ugliest person on the planet. I even blogged about it. Then I thought to myself "what can I do to make myself feel less ugly?" so I went back and read the peptalk to myself that I left in a comment on one of your posts, and though I don't feel like a beauty queen, I feel a little less ugly. So thank you for reminding me to talk myself up! xo
I love this so much and I can't wait until you write about it! Hurray up!
Thank you for the reminder ...it's the little things that count the most sometimes and we can all change lives just by sharing ours.
I cannot wait to read about what you did... I'm thinking and I can think of lots of little random acts of kindness things but nothing life changing. What a great thing to pick out!
